Hello everyone, my name is Josh Sippie. I am the moderator here on the HWA Forums, but naturally, I am also a(n) Historical Fiction writer myself. I have always wanted to make history more fun and more accessible. History doesn't have to be as boring as it usually is in school. My main objective in my writings is to make people laugh at what happened in the past. One way I go about doing that is by finding odd little nuggets of history and then expanding those nuggets into novels. Sometimes this requires more fiction than other times, but that's part of the fun. If, in the end, I don't make readers laugh, I didn't do my job.
I live in New York City, where I do a whole slew of things, from teaching Blog courses to hosting scavenger hunts to assisting at various pitch conferences.
My main job is managing a soccer website (I'm soccer crazy), which I have been doing for over three years now.
